Netherlands Sijbekarspel Tulip farmer Arie Vriend on the tulpenkopmachine (translation) invented by his father Willem Vriend. When groing in the field, the heads of the tulips are taken off on the top of their bloom. The green leaves of the plant will now send their produced energy to the bulb so they can grow and multiply.
